The new original German film starring Matthias Schweighöfer, Ruby O. Fee, Frederick Lau, and Murathan Muslu is now available on Brick OTT. On July 10, the bizarre science fiction thriller was made available on Netflix.

What is Brick all about?

Philip Koch is the director of the film, which centers on a couple who are compelled to work together with their neighbors to discover a way out after discovering that their apartment building is unexpectedly surrounded by a strange brick wall. The trailer depicts a pair opening their apartment door only to find a black barrier in its place. They make an effort to destroy it, but they fail.

Additionally, the two of them discover that the window is encircled by a similar black wall, and they figure out how to see that they are not the only ones who are confined—other apartment residents are as well. Tensions and mayhem ensue as they gradually figure out what the mystery behind the wall is and if there is any way for them to escape. Will they be able to leave together?

The actors' remarks regarding the movie

The actors Matthias Schweighöfer and Ruby O. spoke with Kulture magazine. Fee discussed the thriller's metaphorical aspects. "These are tumultuous times," Schweighöfer stated. One may also wonder, "Are you truly safe if you've constructed a wall around yourself?" And, "What happens if you break down the wall and go outside?"

In the interim, Fee added, "Fundamentally, I believe that audiences may relate to this tale of being imprisoned in a variety of ways." Particularly if they are claustrophobic and afraid of being trapped in an elevator, for instance. But also subconsciously, shifting it to the wild moments happening all over the globe."
