The producers of the upcoming Malayalam film Maine Pyar Liya have announced that it will be released in theaters during the Onam festival. An exact date has not yet been disclosed, though. The film's cast, which includes Hridhu Haroon and Preity Mukhundhan in the leads, was announced with a poster. Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira by Fahadh Faasil and Hridyapoorvam by Mohanlal and Sathyan Anthikad are currently scheduled for an Onam release this year.

Maine Pyar Kiya, a romantic comedy drama

Maine Pyar Kiya is described as a romantic comedy drama with captivating thriller elements. In addition to an amazing group of young Malayalam performers, the production team had earlier disclosed that the film will include a handful of Tamil actors. Sanju Unnithan is producing the movie under the direction of Faisal Faziluddin, a newcomer, and Spire Productions. The director also wrote the screenplay.

The film's teaser implies that a young couple is being closely monitored by a group of individuals who are concerned about their potential elopement. A Kerala group is heard assuring that the couple will be safely transported to Kottayam soon, while a Tamil gang is heard commanding that the guy be captured and killed brutally. The film's supporting cast includes Askar Ali, Mime Gopy, Redin Kingsley, Jeo Baby, and Arjyou. The movie was finished shooting in January.

Preity Mukhundhan Films and Hridhu Haroon

The Tamil actress gained popularity with her prominent debut in Kavin's Star and the Tamil music video Aasa Kooda, which was written by Sai Abhyankkar. Her Malayalam debut is in Maine Pyar Kiya. On the other hand, Hridhu is well-known for his role in All You Imagine As Light, which is available on JioHotstar. Last year, the movie took home the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival. The young star, who made his big screen debut in the Hindi web series Crash Course, made his Malayalam debut with Muhammad Musthafa's sophomore directorial, MURA, which is Kappela fame.
