After a long hiatus, Bhairavam marks the return of Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith, and Bellamkonda Srinivas to Telugu cinema. All three actors have pinned a lot of hopes on this film, which is the official remake of the Tamil hit Garudan. Vijay Kanakamedala of Naandhi fame directed the film, which was released on May 30, 2025, to mixed reviews.

Bhairavam day 5 collections

However, as there were no other major Telugu releases, Bhairavam managed to find its audience, thanks to the star cast. The family drama has completed five days of its theatrical run and has earned just over Rs 9 crore at the worldwide box office. Collections on Day 5 were limited to Rs 60 lakhs, as the IPL final was scheduled and audience turnout was low.

With this, Bhairavam has earned slightly more than Rs 18 crore, a satisfactory figure that has secured the producers’ financial position. Nevertheless, the movie proved to be a significant failure in the US, as it did not fulfill even minimal expectations—mainly due to its appeal aimed at mass audiences.

Manchu Manoj, recognized for his role in Vedham, shared his joy regarding the film's success and expressed gratitude to the producers for giving him a special part. For Bellamkonda Srinivas, who starred in Rakshasudu, this film turned out to be a fortunate turn of events, particularly as he was struggling from consecutive failures and was on the verge of being forgotten in the Telugu film industry.

Aditi Shankar debuts in Telugu with Bhairavam

Bhairavam is also special as it marked the Telugu debut of Aditi Shankar. Her performance in a bubbly role won many hearts, and her on- and off-screen chemistry with Srinivas became a hot topic of discussion.

Zee5 has acquired the digital streaming rights to the film for a fancy price and will stream it in the third week of June 2025. Stay tuned for more updates on this project.
