The trailer for Kannada actor Dheekshith Shetty's next robbery comedy, Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, has been released. Abhishek M's film centers on a group of low-level thieves who are attempting to get the jackpot by attacking the nearby Bhagyalakshmi Cooperative Society. However, as fate would have it, the total amount of money in the bank on the day of the robbery is a princely sum of Rs 66,999. According to this teaser, the core of the story centers on what happens when they understand the pointlessness of their endeavor and attempt to determine if there is a means for them to escape without being apprehended by the authorities.

In the comedy, Dheekshith is accompanied by, among others, Srivatsa Shyam, Sadhu Kokila, Brinda Acharya, Ashwin Rao Pallaki, Gopalkrishna Deshpande, Bharath GB, and Sruthi Hariharan. Brinda had previously stated in an interview that the robbery aspect of the Bank of Bhagyalakshmi is not the only aspect of the bank, and that there is also a significant social message. In addition to being the object of affection, Brinda is also observed in the bank. The movie's theatrical debut will show if she was a member of the mixed group or if she was just trapped in the bank at the time of the heist.

Dheekshith joined the movie, which had previously been announced as a Krishna Ajai Rao-directed picture titled Bank of Bhagyalakshmi, around two years later. The actor said that the heist comedy genre was a welcome change for him. HK Prakash, who previously directed the surprise hit Rangitaranga, is the film's producer.

Bank of Bhagyalakshmi will be Dheekshith’s first Kannada release since 2024’s Blink. The actor has a couple of interesting projects lined up in Telugu, including the Rahul Ravindra directorial The Girlfriend, starring Rashmika Mandanna in the lead. Dheekshith is paired opposite the Kuberaa actress. He will also be seen in a film called KJQ in Telugu. Back home, Dheekshith had recently announced a new collaboration with Blink maker Srinidhi, which is based on the found-footage concept.
