After being released in theaters in 2023, the Malayalam movie Asthra is now ready for its digital debut. The thriller, which has Amith Chackalakal as the main character, will be available on Manorama Max shortly.

The release date of Asthra OTT

In December 2023, the movie had its theatrical premiere, but it failed to draw a large audience or perform well financially. It has now been established that Asthra will start broadcasting on the well-known Malayalam OTT platform at 12 a.m. on July 18. 

Dhyan Sreenivasan's Super Zindagi and Anaswara Rajan's Vysanasametham Bandhumithradhikal will soon be available on the same streaming platform. The film will also include Vinay Forrt and Sharaf U Dheen's Samshayam. You can now see Mr. and Mrs. Bachelor on Manorama Max. Detective Ujjwalan and Narivetta made their debut on several streaming platforms last week. Detective Ujjwalan, starring Dhyan Sreenivasan, is available on Netflix, whereas Tovino Thomas' political thriller Narivetta is available on Sony LIV and OTTplay Premium.

Information about the cast and plot of Asthra

The movie is primarily set in the Sulthan Bathery neighborhood of the Wayanad district. A gang has murdered two police officers in the past 48 hours under strange circumstances. They draw an arrow-shaped symbol on the wall using blood. Joshy Mathew's use of several methods to examine the case in an effort to identify the culprits and determine the cause of the crime is the film's main focus.

The key actors in Azaad Alavil's film Asthra also include Kalabhavan Shajohn, Sudheer Karamana, Senthil Krishna, and Suhasini Kumaran. The supporting cast of the movie includes Parasparam Pradeep, Neena Kurup, Meghanathan, Srikanth Murali, Jiju Raj, Abu Salim, Jayadushyanth, and Renu Sounder. This film, written by Vinu K Mohan and Jiju Raj, was funded by Prem Kallat and Prenand Kallat. For Asthra, Mohan Sithara created the music and background score.
