Amazon’s free OTT platform, miniTV, which has garnered immense viewerships due to its free streaming service for a wide range of contents and shows, is all set to make its foray into Tamil and Telugu languages for its regional audiences. The announcement was made today, where miniTV also dropped the list of all the shows and films, which will be dubbed in Tamil and Telugu, exclusively. The massive collection contains a whopping 200+ contents. Viewers who prefer to watch content in these languages will now have a much bigger selection to choose from on miniTV, absolutely free.

Names of the shows and films

Interestingly, this list also contains miniTV’s original shows and films like action-thriller, Hunter- Tootega Nahi Todenge, and the coming-of-age story, Physics Wallah. Viewers will also be able to catch the patriotic drama, Rakshak - India's Braves, and the romance series, Highway Love, in their preferred languages. But that's not all! The streaming platform also gearing up for some of the blockbuster Hollywood line-ups such as the classic franchises - The Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games, Step-Up, all dubbed in your favourite South Indian languages.

However, miniTV is also moving forward to Korean, Turkish and Chinese contents, dubbed in these South languages, ensuring there's something for everyone.

Aruna Daryanani, the director of Amazon miniTV announced the exciting news and stated, “We are excited to expand the languages that customers on miniTV will be able to enjoy popular shows and movies in, further enriching their streaming experience. This initiative marks a significant milestone and reflects our dedication to cater to the preferences of our regional audiences. The foray will also enable us to associate with new advertisers as well and look forward to building partnerships.”

Viewers can stream these Tamil and Telugu dubbed shows exclusively on Amazon miniTV through Amazon’s shopping app, Prime Video, Fire TV, Smart TVs, or can directly download the application from Google Play Store.

It shows sneak-peeks from Physics Wallah, Crushed, Hunter, Hustler, Gutar Gu, Highway Love, Never Back Down, Now You See Me, DOA, Deepwater Horizon, and several other unnamed Korean and Chinese shows.
