Among the most anticipated Malayalam movies on OTT is Alappuzha Gymkhana, which stars Naslen K. Gafoor. Following a lot of conjecture around its digital release, Alappuzha Gymkhana is now prepared for its OTT debut. From next week, Khalid Rahman's Malayalam sports comedy will be available on OTTplay Premium and SonyLiv. Where to stream Naslen's movie on OTT: Alappuzha Gymkhana

On April 10, 2025, as a Vishu release, Alappuzha Gymkhana, Naslen, the star of Premalu, released his most recent Malayalam movie in theaters. The Naslen-directed movie is scheduled to be released on June 13, 2025, on the over-the-top platforms OTTplay Premium and SonyLIV, two months after it was first shown in theaters, as confirmed by the platform.

At this point, it is not confirmed if the Malayalam film will be released online with other language options. But the other recent Malayalam releases such as Maranamass and Bromance on the platform were available in other south Indian languages of Tamil and Telugu.

Alappuzha Gymkhana cast and plot

In addition to Naslen, the movie also features Lukman Avaran, who appeared in Operation Java, and Ganapathi S. Poduval, who starred in Janeman, in significant roles. The colorful cast also includes Sandeep Pradeep, Anagha Ravi, Franco Francis, Baby Jean, and Shiva Hariharan.

Jojo Johnson (Naslen) and his group of pals are the subjects of the sports comedy, who flunk their plus-two exams and choose to compete in a boxing tournament in order to get into college through the sports quota. Their demanding boxing trainer is seen as Lukman Avaran.

Alappuzha Gymkhana received a lot of love and appreciation from the audience when it was first released in theaters in April. Despite being released alongside Mammootty's Bazooka and Basil Joseph's Maranamass, Alappuzha Gymkhana triumphed at the box office.

The Mammootty-starrer is still not available on OTT, despite having its digital debut in May on OTTplay Premium and SonyLiv. Although the Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed "Dominic and the Ladies' Purse" was released in theaters in January 2025, the OTT release date for another Mammootty film has not yet been determined.
