According to sources familiar with JioHotstar (OTTplay Premium) who spoke to Mid Day, discussions have already begun about reviving The Night Manager: India for a second season. The narrative for what is hoped to be a successful and long run is being prepared by creators Sandeep Modi and Priyanka Ghose..

The tabloid was informed by a source that the writing process is anticipated to begin by the end of the year. The Indian crew is currently concentrating on modifying the plot and fleshing out the protagonist's journey, while the British have provided them with the original script.

A new mission will be introduced in Season 2

Reports indicate that Season 1 concluded with Kapur's Shaan Sengupta successfully infiltrating the empire of arms dealer Shelly Rungta (Anil Kapoor), and that Season 2 would focus on a completely different covert mission. The tale will continue eight years after the events of the last installment, according to platform internal discussions. Kapur's Shaan and Tillotama Shome's Lipika Saikia Rao, an R&AW operative, will reunite to confront a new worldwide threat.
