Formerly known as Disney+ Hotstar, Jio Hotstar has always provided its viewers with high-quality content. The OTT platform will debut a new web series called Devika and Danny on June 6 as part of the Hotstar Specials lineup. Ritu Varma, Surya Vasistta, Siva Kandukuri, and Subbaraju are among the main characters in the series, while Kovai Sarala, Sonia Singh, Gokaraju Ramana, Sivanarayana, Viva Harsha, Shanmukh, Abhinaya Sri, Mounika Reddy, Ishwarya Vullingal, and others play significant supporting roles. The series, which will be accessible for streaming on Jio Hotstar from June 6, 2025, is directed by B. Kishore and produced by Sudhakar Chaganti under the Joy Films brand. Today, manufacturers met the press in Hyderabad and engaged with the media.

"I've been wanting to make a web series for a while, but I was waiting for something really out-of-the-box," stated Ritu Varma, the film's main actress, at the event. I see it as fortunate that I got the genuine and heartfelt tale of "Devika and Danny" at that moment. With the goal of producing high-quality films and television shows, Sudhakar Garu, our producer, established Joy Films and put his faith in such a narrative. I sincerely hope that we will be able to complete many more worthwhile projects of this nature. Kishore Garu, the director, is a lot of fun to work with and very focused. From the images on screen, it's evident how carefully Venkat Dilip, our cinematographer, has worked. He is a genuine perfectionist.

She continued, "Surya, who played Danny, is a very hardworking and involved actor. Siva Kandukuri, who played Subbu, fit into the role perfectly. I'd want to express my gratitude to Subbaraju Garu, Kovai Sarala Garu, and the whole staff as well. Nandini deserves special recognition for all of her efforts behind the scenes. Girls are frequently discouraged by the people in their lives, who tell them that they are unable to accomplish certain things. They gain a sense of optimism and self-assurance from this show. From June 6, Jio Hotstar will begin streaming 'Devika and Danny.'

"Girls frequently experience a lot of limitations in little towns - what they may and may not do," said actor Surya Vasistta. Everyone will relate to this series, I'm sure. One of the few people who provided tremendous help was the producer Sudhakar. During the filming, we felt closer to our family members thanks to the direction of Kishore Garu. Dilip Garu, our cinematographer, is excellent in his framing and lighting. Nandini Garu deserves a huge thank you for her behind-the-scenes work. Additionally, I appreciate Jio Hotstar's delivery of such current material. Shiva Kandukuri became like a brother to me, and Ritu Varma was a fantastic co-star. He performed admirably. Audiences will be able to relate to each character in the show since Danny's character has several levels.

"Web series are often linked with vulgarity these days," said actor Siva Kandukuri. Accepting a clear and significant script like "Devika and Danny" is really praiseworthy in this situation. Subbu is the name of the role I play, and he injects comedy into the tale. The series demonstrates how each character contributes to Devika's journey. I had a blast playing Subbu. I want to thank director Kishore Garu for giving me this opportunity and our cinematographer Venkat Dilip Garu for capturing us so beautifully. Ritu Varma's portrayal of Devika is excellent, ranking among her best performances. Surya's depiction of Danny is very heartfelt and complex. I am sure that viewers will adore 'Devika and Danny,' which will be available on Jio Hotstar starting June 6.

The photography was excellent, thanks to Dilip Garu. The story and dialogues were written by Deepak Raj Garu, for which he merits a particular vote of appreciation. Ritu Varma played Devika, a young woman from a rural village who learns from her experiences, with great skill. Surya and Siva Kandukuri were outstanding in their roles as Danny and Subbu, respectively. I appreciate the entire team.

Working on this series has been a joy after Sreekaram, according to director B. Kishore. I think everyone will like the teaser, trailer, and first two episodes. Writer Deepak Raj began the trip, and throughout the way, Ritu Varma, Surya, Siva Kandukuri, and Subbaraju Garu joined and offered their complete support. The cinematography was beautiful, thanks to Venkat Dilip Garu. The music director, Jai Krish, and the editor, Karthik, made significant contributions as well. This series represents the beginning of our producer Sudhakar Garu's career, and I am hoping that he will go on to produce a lot more significant work. The audience will undoubtedly find 'Devika and Danny' to be worth their time, and they will like every minute of it.
