One of the well-known Malayalam film series that experiments with comedy is Aadu. The third chapter of Aadu, which stars Malayalam actor Jayasurya, began production in May 2025. With rumors of time travel and zombies circulating, and fans anxiously awaiting news about Aadu 3, actor Saiju Kurup has revealed some intriguing details about the next Malayalam film.

Jayajurya Aadu 3 by Saiju Kurup

The 2015 movie Aadu, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas and starring Jayasurya in the main role, featured well-known Malayalam actor Saiju Kurup. Work on the third installment is currently underway; the second chapter came out in 2017. Saiju Kurup discussed the Aadu 3 genre in a recent interview with Movie World Media.

Saiju Kurup said the movie would be about time travel and would follow two different eras, but he also hinted that there would be "surprises."

"There aren't many time travel films, are there? As a result, this one would be a lot of fun and intriguing. The first two Aadu movies were hilarious and brought a lot of joy to viewers. However, the third section will genuinely make people laugh," said the actor, who is getting ready for the premiere of his next movie, Flask, which will be in theaters on July 18, 2025.

Additionally, Saiju Kurup, who portrays Arakkal Abu in the series, noted that the budget for Aadu 3 is higher than that of the first two films. The budget for part three will be higher than the sum of the budgets for Aadu and Aadu 2, according to what he stated, even if he didn't provide a specific amount.
