DNA: How much money did Atharvaa and Nimisha's movie earn before its OTT launch?

The 2025 Tamil movie DNA marked the debut collaboration between Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan. The thriller, which debuted in theaters on June 20, will be available for streaming on JioHotstar starting on July 20. DNA is closing its box office collection under Rs 10 crore. To be precise, the film's total collection worldwide is Rs 9.36 crore, with the major share coming from India with Rs 8.03 crore. DNA did not have a fantastic run, and opened to mixed reviews upon its release. The film is a thriller which features Atharvaa and Nimisha Sajayan as newly married couple who give birth to their first child. However, after the wife identifies that the baby handed over to her is not hers, it sets the husband to figure out where their real child is taken to.

The cast of the crime thriller includes Balaji Sakthivel, Ramesh Thilak, Viji Chandrasekar, Chetan, Riythvika KP, Subramanian Siva, Karunakaran, and Pasanga Sivakumar. Ghibran Vaibodha created the backdrop music, which Jayanthi Ambedkar produced, and Sreekanth Hariharan, Sathya Prakash, Anal Akash, Praveen Saivi, and Sahi Siva were all involved in writing the songs. The film was shot by Parthiban D.F.T., and Sabu Joseph VJ is the editor.
