The coming-of-age drama 3BHK, which was written and directed by Sri Ganesh and is based on a short story by Aravindh Sachidanandan titled 3BHK Veedu, marked a significant turning point in Siddharth's career. The movie, which was released in Tamil and Telugu theaters on July 4, 2025, had mixed reception. Reports indicate that the movie will be available on OTT in the beginning of August.

According to sources, JioHotstar (also via OTTplay Premium) will offer 3BHK starting on August 4, 2025. Kannada actress Chaithra J Achar made her Tamil film debut in the movie, which also stars Sarathkumar, Devayani, Meetha Raghunath, Yogi Babu, Subbu Panchu, Vivek Prasanna, Thalaivaasal Vijay, and others.

3BHK is Arun Viswa's third directorial for Shanti Talkies, following 8 Thottakkal and Kuruthi Aattam. The movie depicts the struggles of a middle-class family over twenty years as they work toward realizing their long-held ambition of owning a house and leaving their rented apartment.

In 2006, the tale begins with Vasudevan (Sarathkumar), his wife Shanti (Devayani), and their two kids, Prabhu (Siddarth) and Aarthi (Meetha). Vasudevan hopes to have enough money saved up so they can buy their own house. However, there are always obstacles that compel him to spend his life savings on health problems, Aarthi's wedding, getting Prabhu into engineering school, etc., regardless of how close he gets to realizing that ambition. At the heart of the story is whether or not the family is able to purchase that elusive house.

3BHK, which was mostly filmed in Chennai, has music by Amrit Ramnath, while Dinesh B Krishnan and Jithin Stanislaus were in charge of photography. It was edited by Gamesh Shiva to its current runtime of two hours and twenty minutes. 3BHK was Siddharth's second Tamil film of the year. With a direct-to-OTT release, he was previously spotted in Test alongside Nayanthara and R Madhavan.
