Jeans, the 1998 Tamil film, has recently clocked 26 years since its release. Starring Prashanth and Aishwarya Rai, the film was directed by Shankar. Besides, Aishwarya Rai, who plays Madhumitha, falls in love with one of the sons and assumes the role of her non-existing twin sister Vaishnavi to convince the groom’s family. Besides them, Jeans also features noted actors like Lakshmy, Radhika Sarathkumar, Senthil and others.

Jeans is a romantic comedy, thus paving the way for a lot of laughter. The film is about how a girl deceives her lover’s family into making them believe that she has a twin sister.
