The Traitors Ep 7–9 Review: Twists, Betrayals & Mind Games Keep Karan Johar's Show Gripping
5 months ago | 5 Views
Due to our knowledge that the series would conclude in a few days, the release of episodes 4, 5, and 6 of Karan Johar's The Traitors last week seemed a bit strange. However, the announcement of season 2 on Prime Video thrilled The Traitors viewers. The Traitors India, a survival game show, deserved a second season, to put it simply. The program has been so successful that it has become an addiction, and you really cannot miss a moment of any episode, including episodes 7, 8, and 9, which aired on June 26. KJo's The Traitors India was worth seeing because of the shocking eliminations, amazing puzzle games, traitor recruitment, drama, disagreements, and betrayals.
The Traitors: Episodes 7–9
Out of all the other episodes, the most intriguing were episodes 7, 8, and 9 of The Traitors India. New information about each participant in the palace is revealed during the psychological game. Because it's such a fantastic game show, you really get the impression that 'thank god, an Indian adaptation of The Traitors has been made' while you're watching it. Despite the fact that each episode lasts 60 to 70 minutes, you still want more. And of course, Karan Johar's acting while interviewing the competitors, smashing the picture frames of the eliminators, and at the Circle of Shaq will have you grinning from ear to ear. He is an absolute genius, and KJo is the best possible host for the program.
There was more drama in episodes 7, 8, and 9, but this time it was full of thrills and surprises. Everyone seemed relieved when Janhvi was killed off at the start of the seventh episode since nobody ever paid attention to her, but everyone wanted her to be killed off soon. As a result, the Traitors, Elnaaz Norouzi and Purav Jha, committed the 'murder' and completed the task on behalf of everyone.
Puzzle games, secret mission, and shocking eliminations
Now comes the next part, where we saw an unexpected elimination. This elimination not only delighted the contestants but also gave everyone a shock, and it was so unexpected that everyone kept saying, 'unbelievable.' Can you guess?
Following his removal, the traitor Purav Jha was given a covert assignment that required him to kill an Innocent in public rather than behind the scenes. For this, he had to finish it in two steps: first, find the book in the billiards room that bore the Traitors stamp and contained a bottle of poison, then select the image of one player from the photographs on the dinner table and toss it into the fountain, whom he wished to kill. Despite the fact that everyone was having a celebration in the courtyard, making this assignment seem extremely difficult, Purav ultimately finished it without anyone noticing, resulting in the death of yet another innocent.
But this wasn't the conclusion. Chosen by Purav, the Innocent still had a long way to go because there was one more game to play. Near the conclusion of the game, the innocent would be eliminated. The recruitment of another traitor prior to that was to be expected.
The mind-boggling game then occurred the following day. Since the game's theme was that everyone was dressed in white, one Innocent was getting closer to being killed or eliminated. During the process, three competitors—Apoorva, Uorfi, and Harsh—were put in risk while having to choose a pot with their names on it and walk around a wall. In a further match where the competitors had to make their way through a sea of women dressed in red sarees, Sufi, Apoorva, and Uorfi came dangerously close to being killed or eliminated.

The whole game was so interesting, and when one Innocent was eliminated from Sufi, Apoorva, and Uorfi, everyone cried. You can surely guess who it is! Quickly go and watch The Traitors, streaming on Prime Video, to find out! In total, 5 contestants were eliminated, and at the end, Harsh seemed to be in danger as he certainly got a lot of votes at the Circle of Shaq.
Meanwhile, in the episodes, contestants again argued about whom to vote in the Circle of Shaq inside the Palace. There was an argument between Urofi and Harsh, too. Urofi was seen shedding some tears because she was hurt by Harsh's statement. Overall, episodes 7, 8, and 9 were entertaining, full of shocking events and obviously betrayals as it followed one motto: 'Trust is rare but dhoka (betrayal) everywhere."
Meanwhile, The Traitors' final episode, aka episode 10, will air on July 3 at 8 p.m. on Prime Video!
