Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama Story

At a very young age, Ram (Suhas) loses his mother and lives with his uncle. One day, he becomes friends with Satyabhama (Malavika Manoj). Just when things seem to be going well, Ram's history reappears and ruins his romance. The fundamental question of the movie is: What is that past, and what problems did it cause in Ram's love tale?

The Bhama, Ayyo Rama Review

One of the most skilled actors in Telugu film is Suhas, who is working on project after project in his career. His most recent appearance was in the OTT version of Uppu Kappurambu, which is currently available on Amazon Prime Video. Only a few days after its release, another movie of Suhas, Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama, has debuted in theaters on July 11, 2025, under the direction of Ramu Godhala.

First, one cannot fathom why Suhas would have approved the movie in the first place. Because Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama is a hybrid of sorts that doesn't fit into any particular genre, it's really difficult to classify this movie. The movie has very little conflict because of the poor writing.

The hero's flashback episodes have no connection to the story. Whatever connection is highlighted is only made clear in the run-up to the climax, and there are many poorly written moments that must be experienced in order to get there.

Even a talented performer like Suhas doesn't appear to know what he's doing in the plot. The scenarios are so predictable that you can easily predict what will happen next. The story is so ludicrous that it continues to be ridiculous till the very end.

The thread is not properly established by director Ramu. Things don't connect at all, whether they're romantic, humorous, or emotional. Despite the modern and innovative way in which stories are told nowadays, this is one movie with the most predictable scenes and straightforward narrative. The picture immediately fails, and the director fails to take advantage of the opportunity to improve the situation in any way.

As for the performances, Suhas performs his role well, but for the most part, he appears to be sleepwalking through it. Throughout the movie, his lack of interest is obvious. Malavika Manoj is the female protagonist, and despite having the finest role in the movie, she gives her all. However, she is unable to adequately express her feelings because of the character's weight.

Ali is a fantastic senior actor in a fascinating role, playing Suhas's uncle well. The picture features two comedians who annoy you to a whole other degree and are not worth mentioning here. With a cameo role and excellent performance, Babloo Prithviraj steals the show. The only performer that makes sense in this story is the yesteryear Telugu film actress, Anita Hansnadani, who plays a really well role.

The production values are okay, but the screenplay is hugely disappointing and does not make sense one bit. The editing is pathetic, as close to fifteen minutes could be easily cut. The dialogues are neat, but the production design is not that great.

In times when content is ruling, here comes one film that you need to watch to learn how not to make a film, as the story, narration, and performances fail big time. On top of this, the emotions hardly connect and irritate the audience.

Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama Verdict

On the whole, Oh Bhama Ayyo Rama is a romantic drama that fails to click right from the start. Apart from the last ten minutes, every aspect of this film falters and makes it a tedious watch this weekend.
