Vishnu Manchu's highly awaited movie Kannappa, released on June 27, is first reviewed by Kannappa. The story of Kannappa, a devoted disciple of Lord Shiva in Hinduism, serves as the basis for the mythological fantasy thriller. The movie was shown to a selected group of media representatives, and thus far, based on the responses, this Vishnu Manchu-starrer seems to promise a 'spectacular' cinematic experience.

Kannappa's initial responses

I'm still unable to get the previous 30 minutes out of my head, trade expert Sumit Kadel posted on his X account. I've only experienced this level of emotion at the conclusion of #Kantara. The audience, particularly those who worship Lord Shiva, will be moved to tears. The climax is goosebumps-inducing, emotionally overpowering, and spine-chilling."

"Overall, Kanappa is a good film," he said, adding particular appreciation for the climax sequence. The film is worth watching for the final 40 minutes, which has Prabhas as Rudra, Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, and Mohanlal alongside Vishnu Manchu in a noteworthy role. However, its flaws include its low production values and sluggish speed.

A film created for fans of Lord Shiva

In the interim, Rohit Jaiswal wrote, "Last 40 min of #Kannappa is SPECTACULAR... This movie is made for SHIV BHAKTS, those who believe in SHIV LEELA, and those who are proud SANATANI. I have never seen anything like it before."

The film also received high acclaim from its producer, Kona Venkat. "I too had the Privilege and the opportunity to watch Kannappa and I am truly impressed by the content!" he wrote. In the second half, there are a ton of amazing moments. The final half hour, in particular, is really enthralling and fascinating. The movie was greatly influenced by the presence of #Prabhas. @iVishnuManchu's performance over the previous 20 minutes would undoubtedly be discussed by every audience, and @themohanbabu garu's performance would be talked about for many years to come. I truly hope that Kannappa performs well at the box office and helps the industry during these challenging times!

Previously, the producers issued a formal statement cautioning trolls against posting false information and bad reviews of the picture before it was out. One section of the statement stated, "Misuse, distortion, or defamatory acts against the film or its stakeholders will be legally challenged."

Vishnu Manchu plays the lead in the movie, which also features Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, and Madhoo. Additionally, the film includes celebrity cameos, such as Prabhas as Rudra, Kajal Aggarwal as Goddess Parvati, Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, and Mohanlal as Kirata. The film will be released in cinemas across the country on June 27.
