Kimmy discussed the differences between fat loss and weight loss in an Instagram post she shared on July 3 titled "4 things I did to lose fat, not just weight."

"The water, organs, muscles, fat, etc. that make up your body weight," she explained. Focus on reducing fat, especially if it's water or muscle. You don't want to simply lose weight. The fitness instructor, who "lost 30 pounds (13.6 kg) in 5 weeks," shared her four tips based on her experience, saying that her fourth tip is "important but often dismissed."

Ate in a calorie deficit

"I ate in a calorie deficit," Kimmy said. This is not up for discussion. You should consume less calories than you expend during the day. I stated reduced calories, not less food. Prioritize protein and vegetable-based meals.

2. She continued, "I'm a lazy person, so I began walking 10,000 steps a day." I despise going outside. I never felt like walking when I cut before. 4. "I took a break every four to six months. It is not in the nature of our bodies to remain in a deficit indefinitely. I took a complete month off every four to six months. Instead of eating anything I wanted, I wanted to maintain my protein intake while eating at maintenance. According to Kimmy, "This helped my body recover and made fat loss easier in the long run."
