Why should you prefer an inclined walk?
Takai claims that for every 1% increase in incline, your body burns about 4% more calories. “You can burn fat faster and easier without needing to run on a treadmill,” he said.
Walking on an incline generates more muscular activity than walking on a level surface because you are working against gravity, as stated by Harvard Health. It also offers resistance that can aid in muscle development in the lower body.
