The follow-up to one Life...in a Metro, directed by Anurag Basu, has fans on edge to see what he has created. The teaser for Metro...In Dino offered viewers a brief peek at the movie's numerous plots and characters, as well as the unifying element of them all: the Pritam-made music. The first song from the album, titled Zamaana Lage, was unveiled by the producers on Wednesday. The stunning song, which is all about the all-encompassing power of love, is sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh.

It seemed like a lifetime ago

Set in Mumbai and focusing on love, the music video provides a sneak peek at the various storylines of this anthology film. Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Alia Khan's characters have an arc, during which he bids her farewell on her way to a metro station. The figure of Konkona Sen Sharma seems hesitant to attract Pankaj Tripathi's attention.

In the meantime, Saswata Chatterjee is seen following the characters played by Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher through the streets of Kolkata. The complex bond that forms between Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal's characters is the subject of the final arc.

In the midst of all of this, Pritam and his group of singers perform the lovely song in the streets of Mumbai. The lyrics, which Qaisar Ul Jafri wrote (with further lyrics from Sandeep Shrivastava), are sung beautifully by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh and discuss the possibility of giving love a second chance, even if it might take a lifetime to move past the pain of a breakup.

reactions from fans

"Pritam da & Arijit da the duo is back to serve!!!," one devotee remarked in response to the song. Another fan said, "In Zamaana Lage, Arijit Singh's voice is pure magic — soulful and deeply emotional. Every word he sings feels like it's coming straight from the heart." "I'm adding this one right to my playlist!" one remark said.

The theatrical debut of Metro... In Dino is scheduled for July 4.
