The 40-year-old has appeared in 52 movies as the star or co-star, which have brought in over $15 billion in total sales. With $14.8 billion in box office revenue across 66 movies as the star, Samuel L. Jackson, her Marvel Cinematic Universe co-star, has now been surpassed by Scarlett. Robert Downey, Jr. ($14.3 billion in 65 movies) is yet another MCU celebrity to round out the top 3. Scarlett's seven MCU performances, which include the four Avengers movies, which have brought in a combined sum of more than $7 billion, account for a sizable portion of her box office receipts. However, it is her leading role in Jurassic World: Rebirth that has enabled her to pass Sam Jackson. ScarJo has already surpassed the seasoned actor thanks to the movie's $322 million global opening weekend.

Scarlett's career has been remarkable in that she has never been the star of a blockbuster movie. The majority of her accomplishments have been in duos with other co-leads (like Jurassic World) or in ensembles (like the MCU).
