This week, Akhil Akkineni, a well-known actor and the youngest son of Telugu sensation Nagarjuna, married Zainab Ravdjee, his longtime sweetheart. On social media, Nagarjuna and his oldest son, the actor Naga Chaitanya, shared photos from the wedding, extending a warm welcome to Zainab into their family. Given the Akkinenis' position as one of the most well-known cinematic families in India, there has been a great deal of talk about Zainab and how she entered Akhil's life.

Who is Zainab Ravdjee?

Zainab is a professional artist well-known for her impressionistic and abstract paintings and shows. In 2012, the 39-year-old presented Reflections, her first collection. She has since established a reputation in Hyderabad as a well-liked modern impressionistic painter.

Zainab comes from a wealthy family of businessmen. One of the wealthiest men in Hyderabad, industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee, who was a pioneer in the building business, is her father. Zain Ravdjee, Zainab's brother, is the chairman and managing director of their family firm, ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd.

Zainab and Akhil's love story

A few years ago, Akhil and Zainab began dating after meeting. When Akhil posted their photos on social media for the first time in November, the couple revealed their engagement. "Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged," the actor posted to his Instagram account.

Nagarjuna tweeted images of Akhil and Zainab from their wedding, which took place in Hyderabad at 3.35 a.m. on Friday, on his X account (previously Twitter). "With immense joy, Amala and I are delighted to share that our dear son has married his beloved Zainab in a beautiful ceremony (3.35 am) at our home, where our hearts belong," he wrote in his post. Surrounded by love, laughter, and our loved ones, we witnessed a dream come true. The wedding was attended by many famous people, including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Prashanth Neel.
