This week, a brand-new Malayalam cooking series hit the internet. The show, Food Stories, which showcases a variety of delectable dishes from Kerala, is currently accessible on iStream. This 17-recipe food series is hosted by home baker and chef Priya Kolassery. These can also be watched on OTTplay Premium.

Every episode, lasting fifteen minutes, features a recipe that is generally simple enough for beginners to prepare using items they already have in the house. Prawns Stuffed Idiyappam (String Hoppers), Onakka Chemeen Pulinjika Curry (Dry Prawns Curry), and Chicken Pappadam are a few of the recipes. Among them are pickles made with dates and chilli, as well as some summertime favourites like chocolate rose milkshake, watermelon cooler and mango mastani that you can quickly prepare at home for your loved ones.

The show's creators have indicated that these episodes are a part of the first season, giving rise to the possibility of another set in the future. Unfortunately, the lack of English subtitles and the recipes being explained in Malayalam in the series make it difficult for non-Malayalis to fully comprehend them.

These classic Malayalam movies— Kottayam Kunjachan, Thoovanathumbikal, Oru CBI Diarykurippu, Sukhamo Devi, and Sarvakalashala —are worth seeing on this well-liked OTT platform.
