The favorable reception to Vishnu Manchu's most recent film, Kannappa, has him basking in the glow. When questioned if he has any intention of appearing in a Bollywood movie, the actor said that he would if the role were worthwhile. In addition, Vishnu expressed his dissatisfaction with the part Ajith Kumar played in Santosh Sivan's 2001 film Asoka.

For instance, one of the most popular actors in India, Mr. Ajith Kumar, starred with Shah Rukh Khan in "Asoka." I was able to speak with him. I actually stated to him in the beginning, "Anna" (which means older brother), "I was disappointed you did such a little role." He merely kept silent and grinned.
