The Vishnu Manchu-starring film Kannappa by Mukesh Kumar Singh received varied reviews when it was released in theaters on Friday. Although Prabhas' performance and the second half of the movie were lauded, certain aspects were criticized, such as the VFX in a few scenes. But during a press conference in Hyderabad about the movie, Vishnu asserted that they had already made sacrifices in the film's quality due to subpar VFX.

The Visual Effects of Kannappa by Vishnu Manchu

The film was cut in part, according to Vishnu, the director, and the editor, Anthony, at the press conference because the VFX did not match their expectations. "Due to the fact that the VFX wasn't up to par with what we had hoped for, the editor, director, and I had to give up some fantastic moments in the movie."

Nonetheless, he stated that it taught him a valuable lesson about not doing it again. "However, it teaches me a valuable lesson. I'll never make that error again since it's such a valuable lesson. However, many viewers were unaware of it. Vishnu said that the crew was thrilled that nobody gave a damn about them.

Regarding Kannappa

For years, Vishnu has referred to Kannappa as his dream project; he first mentioned it over ten years ago. The story of the movie is based on the lore of a hunter named Thinnadu, who is an atheist but becomes one of Lord Shiva's most devoted followers. Kannappa, which has a large star cast and is produced on a large scale, is the creation of Vishnu's father, the actor Mohan Babu.

In addition to Vishnu, the cast of Kannappa includes Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukhundhan, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, and Madhoo. Despite a modest decline on Saturday, the movie stayed stable at the box office and broke the record for the best debut for any Vishnu movie.
