According to a report, the purpose of the raids was to ascertain if Vishnu Manchu has consistently paid GST in relation to his massive manufacturing operations. According to reports, the raids went on for many hours in various offices and are anticipated to continue the following day.

Speaking about the matter, Vishnu Manchu responded in an interview, stating, "I have nothing to hide, and everything is in the open. The law will do its duty, and I am not bothered, as everything is quite clean."

Some of the biggest stars in Indian cinema, Akshay Kumar, Prabhas, and Mohanlal, are making cameo appearances in Kannappa, and reports say they were paid hefty amounts. A lot of money has been spent on the making of the film, and much is riding on its success. Kannappa needs to perform well at the box office; otherwise, Vishnu Manchu could face massive losses.

Nonetheless, the crew is certain the picture will be on target. The second half of the movie, notably Prabhas's debut, has been lauded by viewers. According to reports, the Baahubali actor has more than 25 minutes of screen time and plays a key role.
