The movie Kannappa, starring Vishnu Manchu as the main character and directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, was released in theaters on Friday. In India, it brought in a net revenue of ₹23.75 crore, and the main actor gave credit to Prabhas for attracting viewers to the theaters; Prabhas played a cameo role in the film. The movie "Kannappa" performed well on its opening weekend, and as Vishnu spoke to the media over the weekend, he appeared pleased with the results. "100%," he said in response to a query about whether Prabhas's cameo in the movie may be responsible for the initial figures. I have faith in that. The cause may be debated as being the topic of Kannappa as well. Because of my brother Prabhas, we were able to get these openings, and I have no ego in admitting it. I'm aware of that. People only began to see Kannappa and learn the lore because we cast him. Consequently, it's all because of my sibling.

But Vishnu didn't seem to believe that the movie improves just because Prabhas enters. "Because they all fell in love with the final hour. After Prabhas enters, everyone claims that the movie changes. However, the shift occurs elsewhere, according to Vishnu, who noted that viewers are drawn to the movie by the interaction between him and Sarathkumar. Naturally, everyone is giving him credit for it because of his popularity and celebrity. However, everything begins with that sequence, and it only improves from there after Prabhas enters the picture.

Vishnu, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, Preity Mukhundhan, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, Devaraj, Mukesh Rishi, Raghu Babu, and Madhoo are among the actors in Kannappa. Vishnu wrote the screenplay, which he describes as his "dream project."
