Despite producing three consecutive failures in his career, Puri Jagannadh was taken aback when he signed Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi for his next film. The movie is making headlines again since, according to our sources at OTTplay, the crew has decided on a title.

Puri Jagan Secures Amusing Title for His Upcoming Film

Originally, it was reported that Puri had settled on Beggar as the title, but the situation has changed, and he has now chosen Biksham Dehi as the title. This suggests that Vijay Sethupathi will portray a beggar.

In one of his interviews for his release Ace, Vijay Sethupathi said that the moment he started listening to the subject narrated by Puri, he fell in love with it and couldn’t say no to the project despite his busy schedule.

The shooting of the film will be wrapped up in under 60 days, and a chunk of the filming will happen on a special set erected in Chennai. National Award-winning actress Tabu will be seen as the female lead in this film.

Ever since the announcement, everyone has been curious to know what kind of subject Puri has prepared for his comeback film. With two powerhouses of talent like Tabu and Vijay, one can easily understand that this will be a special project. 

Puri Jagannadh aims for a solid comeback

For the past two years, Puri Jagannadh has kept a low profile. It all started with Liger, which was given an unprecedented amount of excitement but ultimately failed miserably. With Double Ismart, the situation worsened even further for Ram Pothineni, as the movie ended in an even bigger catastrophe, leaving Puri and his studio with significant financial debt.

Nonetheless, Puri is prepared to produce one of his largest movies to date, now titled Biksham Dehi. Keep an eye out for more information about this initiative.
