Vijay, an actor turned politician, has seen the first movie of his friend and Master co-star Vijay Sethupathi's son, Surya Sethupathi, called Phoenix. Apparently, the movie, which was directed by Anl Arasu, an action choreographer who turned filmmaker, and also features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, made such an impact on Vijay that he embraced Surya.
Having watched Phoenix, Vijay embraces Surya
With Vijay holding his hands on their shoulders, Arasu shared a photo of himself and Surya grinning in X (previously Twitter). "Bloody sweet!" wrote the debut director about how Vijay responded to the movie. That's the feeling after Thalapathy Vijay sir saw #Phoenix and expressed his MERSAL MAXX thoughts! The Phoenix is currently airborne and ON FIRE!
Surya also shared the same image on his X account, expressing his gratitude to Vijay for the embrace and his kind remarks. “Thank you Vijay sir,” he wrote. The final embrace, the kind words, the warmth, and it meant everything. I've always admired you, and the fact that you're behind me on this trip is something I'll never forget."
Phoenix, which marks Surya's acting debut, is the tale of a young wrestler who is battling against those who are hungry for power. Among the prominent individuals are Abhinakshatra, J Vignesh, Sampath Raj, Devadarshini, and others.
