In a recent interview, actor Vicky Kaushal revealed that his wife, actress Katrina Kaif, is very direct about her opinion of his work and gives him honest criticism. However, social media users have been both enraged and amused by his assertion that she does not want the same from him.

Vicky, who recently finished 10 years as an actor in the film industry, recently spoke with Kareena Kapoor, who just celebrated her 25th year as an actress. The Hollywood Reporter India organized and hosted a chat between the two performers.

Katrina's comments on Vicky

Vicky mentioned during the conversation that he appreciates how his wife and fellow actor Katrina Kaif is straightforward with her comments on his work. "She is very honest. She will tell the truth. However, she will occasionally exercise a little caution because there has been a lot of effort put into it, whatever it is. You must be careful about that, and I cannot just go...so, sometimes she is sensitive about it, but mostly she is direct, which I really appreciate. The kind of comments one gets after a movie screening is very uncommon. This was good, this was bad, and you could have done better.

Kareena then interjected, stating that she hoped her husband, the actor Saif Ali Khan, would be as receptive to frank criticism of his profession. "But it's the same over here," Vicky chimed in, noting that even Katrina dislikes it. She wouldn't want that, either. The first step, he said, must be encouragement.

Reddit users posted the brief piece of the conversation on Reddit, where it drew laughter from social media users. "You should be able to take it too if you're dishing it out," one Redditor wrote to Katrina. "Lol, Katrina has always been very sensitive to any kind of negative feedback," said someone else. "She's that person in a friend group who can dish out roasts but can't take it themselves and get angry if you say something about them," someone wrote with a more critical evaluation.
