Venkatesh Daggubati is back to blow the roof off as Rana Naidu in Rana Naidu Season 2 — but both Venkatesh and Rana Naidu are poles apart! While he plays the self-centered and rule-breaking Rana Naidu, the real Venkatesh is a far cry from the man who drops truth bombs and chaos like confetti in the show.

Rana Naidu might be loud, lawless, and neck-deep in family drama, but that’s exactly what makes him impossible to ignore. Underneath all the madness, there’s a surprising emotional core that hits home. The actor opens up on his character and shares, “He’s unpredictable, yes, but his love for his family runs deep — that’s something I really relate to”.

“We both love our families — but that’s where the similarity ends,” Venkatesh says. “That’s the one thing Venky and Rana share. But otherwise? I’m predictable, Rana isn’t.”\

Beyond that, though, the actor draws a clear line. “I like structure and stability,” Daggubati adds. “Rana? He lives for drama. I don’t play mind games — but Rana, he’s full of surprises. You never really know what he's thinking.”

And that edge, the constant push and pull between charm and chaos — is exactly what keeps fans hooked. “There’s always something simmering with Rana,” Venkatesh adds. “You can’t look away.”
