Following the enormous success of Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, the well-known production company Sri Venkateswara Creations returns with another smash, Thammudu. The movie, which stars Laya, Varsha Bollamma, and Saptami Gowda in important roles, was produced by Dil Raju and Sirish and directed by Sriram Venu. The movie Thammudu will have its theatrical premiere on July 4 in theaters around the world. Varsha Bollama, an actress, talked about the film's highlights and her experience portraying a pivotal role in anticipation of the premiere.

I had previously collaborated with SVC in Jaanu. I was called in for an audition for Thammudu and was chosen right away after a look test. The film will be partially filmed in thick forests, and director Sriram Venu asked me if that would be an issue. I saw it as a challenge and took it on, which led to my casting as Chitra.

"The driving force behind hero Nithiin's journey as Jay is my character Chitra. Their relationship is depicted beautifully, and she is a staunch supporter of him. I studied martial arts to prepare for this position. This movie gave me the chance to do what I had always wanted to do: learn martial arts in the real world. I really enjoyed learning it. Chitra is the sort of individual who isn't afraid to speak out and take action. I don't act like that in real life, so it was a special experience for me.

"Thammudu is the best name for this tale. We're also pleased that it has the same moniker as a past smash starring Pawan Kalyan. The plot is significantly influenced by my role. Since Bigil, this is the most physically taxing movie I've ever made. The seasoned performer Laya also has a crucial part. Her journey is incredibly inspiring, from a successful career as a heroine to taking time off for her personal life and now returning to the workforce. She would frequently tell us about her experiences on set.

"Although we might have filmed the forest scenes in a studio using fake sets, we opted for the actual site of Maredumilli. During the monsoon, when we would see snakes and scorpions, it is a thick woodland. We took shots at night using only torches for illumination. The harsh circumstances were also experienced by youngsters and elders on the set. Despite being used to comfort, Laya Garu traveled all the way from the United States and filmed barefoot. Although accidents occurred daily, everyone remained upbeat. Fortunately, my character wore shoes.

"I am thrilled to be partnering with SVC once again. Even though I was a newbie to the business when I performed Jaanu, they treated me with the utmost regard. And they still do. I have portrayed a heroine in numerous films throughout the years, and I do not believe there is a distinction between character roles and lead roles. For me, it's sufficient if someone says, "Varsha really did well." I decided to take up the tale of Thammudu because it struck me as new and demanding. Nithya Menon is a prime example; she is well-known for her outstanding acting abilities. That's the kind of reputation I want to have as well.

"People often think of Nithiin as a tranquil and reserved individual, but in reality, he's really enjoyable!" Because the filming took place in the woods, there were no interruptions or phones. We used to chat and laugh a lot. He treats everyone on set with respect, regardless of their experience. With jokes, I used to tease him incessantly. I would frequently utilize social media to express myself, and I would occasionally improvise my lines in the moment during scenes. However, our director insisted that the conversations be delivered precisely as written, without any modifications. In contrast to Middle Class Melodies, where we were encouraged to improvise, that worked well for that movie.

Though the movie is centered around a brother-sister relationship, it also delves into a variety of psychological themes. My role is in the middle of high-octane action scenes. This movie's action is really stunning. Thammudu is one of those movies that should only be viewed in a theater. Supported by strong audio, it's a full visual delight. The big screen presentation will be a treat for viewers.

"I'm now working on a web series named Constable Kanakam, and I'm also developing another one. I've also signed two films, which I'll tell you more about soon. I have always wanted to portray a psychopathic murderer. It may seem strange, but the most surprising criminals frequently carry out the most heinous deeds in crime thrillers. If I have the opportunity to play such a character, I would undoubtedly accept.
