In an exclusive chat with OTTplay, reality TV personality and fashion star Uorfi Jaaved, who just won The Traitors India, discussed the emotional impact of the program, her tactics, and her time at the Suryagarh palace. Uorfi didn't hold back, from nearly handing over her victory to enduring years of internet hatred.

The Reason Sudhanshu Pandey Was Voted Out By Uorfi

Uorfi discussed her choice to vote out Sudhanshu Pandey, one of the last remaining innocents, and how her alliance changed after she became close with Nikita.

"The way Nikita turned out was unexpected. I had a wonderful off-camera discussion with her only the day before. At night, we had talked about the fact that neither of us was a traitor. We even made some calculations, determined the potential number of traitors, and decided that Sudhanshu could not be one of them. I had thus established a positive relationship with Nikita," she stated.

Sudhanshu, she continued, may have jeopardized her prospects because he already had suspicions about her. "If I had gone to him, there was a chance he could've messed up my game. He may have turned everyone against me by disclosing information. I needed someone I could have complete faith in, someone who would be there for me. The strategy was to first rescue Purav and then Harsh.

Living in a different reality

Uorfi described the overwhelming experience inside the castle as one of the happiest moments of her life.

"To be honest, I didn't want to return home." I even told them aloud that I wanted them to leave me there in Suryagarh with my phone and allow the game to continue indefinitely. Frankly, that world was superior than this one, and I was glad," she stated.

"For us, it was like an alternate world. Not everyone has that kind of experience. You've entered a whole new universe, as though you're no longer here. It was a very different world.

on fights and maintaining her concentration on the game

The battles and personal assaults that broke out in the palace were also discussed by Uorfi. She maintained her attention solely on the game.

"No, no, after that one encounter, I didn't even think about it anymore." "I just want to play the game, ya!" I thought. It's natural for fights to break out. There are likely to be disagreements when twenty individuals are residing together, she stated.

Additionally, I speak my mind, which is sometimes a little blunt and even impolite. However, my heart is kind. I do feel guilty later, but I'm unable to apologize because of my pride. It's all part of the deal.

Unintentionally ruining her triumph

In a manner similar to Marvel star Tom Holland, who is known for unintentionally giving away plot details, Uorfi inadvertently teased her triumph in a leaked Instagram chat soon after the finale was shot.

"I'm the Tom Holland of Prime Video. This season, I'm the Tom Holland. I just said it—I make errors and act on impulse. What should I do now that I've made a mistake?

Reacting to online hatred and trolls

After her triumph, Uorfi published an Instagram message that discussed the years of insults and even threats she had endured.

"I won't lie, but honestly, all of this is only 20%. Thirty percent of it was also really good." But yeah, it does sting a little somewhere. No matter what reality program, there will always be those who disagree with the outcome. Life is simply that way—not everyone will enjoy it when you get up.

In The Traitors Season 2, Uorfi hopes to see who

Uorfi posted her ideal cast for the upcoming season of The Traitors now that it has been officially confirmed.

"Tanmay Bhatt would be great." Even though Samay Raina wouldn't do it, it would be a blast to see him. It would be great. And I'd want to see a pair—just not one of them turning traitor, and let them continue to mistrust one another."
