Karan Johar's The Traitors India season 1 on Prime Video was a rollercoaster ride of fun, laughter, betrayal, arguments, and drama. Started with 20 contestants, the winners of the show were Uorfi Javed and Nikita Luther. Both of them played as 'innocents' in the show. The grand finale took place on July 3, and post winning the show, Uorfi shared posts revealing getting abusive messages on her DM. 

Uorfi Javed says 'hate has never stopped' after winning The Traitors India

Post winning The Traitors India, hosted by Karan Johar, Uorfi Javed shared on her Instagram account that she’s been receiving threats and abusive messages from those unhappy with her emerging as a winner. She shared screenshots of the abusive messages and wrote a note.

Uorfi wrote, “When we you don’t like something a girl does, just drop the ‘R’ word. Not the first time I’ve been threatened or abused like this but this time it’s not because of my clothes but because I won a show. Imagine being so petty that when your favourite player doesn’t win you resort to abusing and threatening.”

Additionally, she wrote in her message that these screenshots are the best of what she has uploaded and that no matter what she does, people will always enjoy hating and abusing her.

"Love me blind if I don't leave Harsh, and dishonest if I do." If she allowed Purav to win, she would be a fool, but if she didn't, she would be a cheater. She said, "I've never been stopped by hate before, and I never will be now."

According to Uorfi Javed, 'The journey wasn't easy'.

In addition, she posted a modified video that began with Karan Johar telling her eviction from Bigg Boss OTT and concluded with Uorfi yelling at The Traitors that she had won the competition. Uorfi remarked that the voyage was challenging when posting the video. Perhaps the universe understood that I needed this," she wrote. I borrowed money from pals to buy the attire I wore on Big Boss, and I felt that when I lost Big Boss, I had lost my final opportunity to succeed or live a decent life. I wasn't sure if I'd ever be able to pay off that udhaar at that point.

She mentioned that people have always doubted her, even right now. She wrote that she has taken out 3 traitors, which can’t be luck. "Till the last moment I didn’t give up . Strategised," she penned.

Uorfi Javed on winning The Traitors India

Reacting to her victory, Uorfi said that The Traitors was the wildest rollercoaster she has ever been on—emotionally, psychologically, and physically draining in every way possible. It made her question everything and everyone, and yet somehow still helped her find her strength. 

"I wasn’t pretending, I wasn’t playing safe, and I definitely wasn’t backing down. Winning The Traitors isn’t just about surviving—it’s about standing in a room full of betrayal and still being unafraid to speak my truth. Together, Nikita and I unmasked and beat the traitors at their own game," she said.
