Former PR manager Vipin Kumar has accused Unni Mukundan of verbal and physical assault, making this week difficult for the actor. The manager even claimed in the police complaint against Unni that the incident occurred as a result of him praising Tovino Thomas' most recent movie, Narivetta, on social media. Unni has, nevertheless, made it plain that he and Tovino get along fine.

Tovino is preoccupied with promoting his most recent release, Narivetta, on social media and has not yet made a statement on the matter in public. Unni Mukundan refuted ever striking his manager

Unni refuted any misbehavior after the police complaint was lodged against him. The actor further alleged in a Facebook post that Vipin attempted to "steal credit" for Marco's success. At the Info Park police station in Kochi, Vipin reported Unni to the police for allegedly verbally and physically assaulting him. Afterwards, he told the media that Unni had invited him to the parking area of his apartment on Monday, where he was attacked. According to the FIR, Unni struck Vipin in the face, broke his glasses, and threatened to murder him. Additionally, he said that the actor was "frustrated" that he hadn't received "good films after Marco" and that he was venting that frustration on others. He further stated that Gokulam Movies withdrew its support for the initiative that Unni was supposed to helm.
