Triptii Dimri’s Sister Stressed by Online Hate Over Animal Post: ‘She Stayed Up Reading Every Comment’

Although her first role as the protagonist was in Laila Majnu in 2018, Triptii Dimri didn't make it into the public eye until the 2023 film Animal. Her appearance in the ₹900 crore mega hit drew a lot of attention, but also a lot of hate and trolling. The film's sexual and nude moments with Triptii were severely condemned online, prompting the actress to distance herself from social media.

However, her friends and family were still shaken by it. Triptii recently told Too Filmy that her sister, who has been her support system throughout her profession, was upset by the animosity directed toward her.
"After all the criticism, I had stopped reading anything," Triptii remarked about the reaction following Animal. She would read every comment until late at night and become anxious. She understood that it would eventually have an impact on me. Therefore, she stated, "Even if you do good, people will still talk." Instead, follow your convictions. You only get to experience your life once. You'll make errors, but all you need to do is pick up on them.
At the suggestion of her sister
Triptii acknowledged in the same interview that her sister was her greatest source of encouragement from outside the business. "I have been fortunate to have wonderful friends, and ever since day one, my sister has been by my side. She has been there for me even when my auditions were unsuccessful." She would tell me, "You have to keep doing this," when I would call her sobbing. Ignore the commotion, ignore my relatives and the folks around me. Simply continue doing this to see if it works for you. You only take a step back if you're not happy, the actress stated, noting that her guidance has been very beneficial to her.
In Dhadak 2, which is being directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures, Triptii will now co-star with Siddhant Chaturvedi. The Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal is being remade as Dhadak 2, which will be released in theaters on August 1 as a spiritual follow-up to Dhadak.
