Kelly Piquet, Max Verstappen's girlfriend, shared a photo of their new baby Lily on social media, and his mother, Sophie Kumpen, responded with cuteness. In early May, the Dutch driver and his partner, who have been together for four years, welcomed their first child into the world.

The pregnancy was revealed in 2024, but the delivery date was kept a secret. The pair also posted a picture of their daughter and revealed her birth before the Miami race. Piquet also uploaded a set of images from a picture session with Lily on Instagram. "Only a little over a month since my heart felt the most amazing love in the world for the second time," she wrote in the description.

“The experience of such a deep love cannot be put into words. Having another kid has made me remember the beauty, power, and tenderness that resides inside us. I want to thank you, little one, for selecting me," he said.

"Sweet Lily, we love you so much," said Verstappen's mother in response.

Penelope, who is five years old, is Piquet's child. With former F1 driver Daniil Kvyat, she shares custody of the kid.

"I breathe motorsport," she stated in a recent interview. It's just my nature. And finally, I have a family with an F1 driver. We've started a family, even if we're not married yet. It wasn't done on purpose. I've been in a few relationships with guys who weren't in the industry, but it was all meant to be.

She continued, "It's been six weeks. Because my sole priority this summer will be my daughter, it was also difficult for me to come here today. I'm taking some time off before getting back to work.
