The son of Union Minister and actor Suresh Gopi, actor Madhav Suresh, recently purchased a Volkswagen Golf GTI, which he flaunted on Instagram. Judging by the comment section of his postings, many people were unsure as to whether he had purchased it himself or with his father's funds. Madhav told Milestone Makers in an interview that he borrowed money to purchase the vehicle, which was worth ₹67 lakh.

One of the first comments Madhav saw when he blogged about the vehicle was that his father had purchased it for him, according to the interview. "The first question I saw when I bought the car was whether the father or the son paid for it." If it had been with your own money, it would have been preferable. To put it simply, I borrowed money. I'll be focused on paying it back from now on.

But the actor did admit the advantage of being Suresh's son, saying that he wants to be self-sufficient. “That’s my father’s wealth, and yes, I have that security. I'm aware that not everyone has that sort of support. My father has saved money that I should not use to indulge myself. My sister's wedding and my parents' retirement are the goals of the plan. I must labor, make money, and create anything of my own,” he stated.

In the interview, Madhav also spoke about dealing with trolls, saying that the majority of the hatred he receives is political. Because of his father's position as a BJP minister, Suresh, he said that many people were "bitter" about him. However, the actor claimed that it doesn't make him "angry" because it's still "attention" directed at him.

Work on the horizon

The CBFC is having trouble with the name of Janaki vs State of Kerala, which stars both Madhav and Suresh. The courtroom drama, directed by Pravin Narayanan, has Anupama Parameswaran in the main role. Based on its being an iteration of Sita, the Kerala High Court on Monday questioned the CBFC's insistence on altering the name Janaki.
