James Gunn's Superman is off to a great start, having already established itself as the week's biggest release in India. New information on the actors' wages has surfaced while we wait for the numbers from the United States and the rest of the world.

Matthew Belloni, an entertainment writer, posted "What I'm hearing, the inside take on Hollywood" on Puck. He discussed in the recent blog how he overheard Gunn bragging about the ensemble of his upcoming picture. Superman/Clark Kent is portrayed by David Corenswet, while Lois Lane is played by Rachel Brosnahan. With Nicholas Hoult, the highest-paid of the three, Lex Luthor is resurrected on the big screen.
According to three sources, "Nicholas Hoult, who got $2 million to play Lex Luthor, is the highest paid in the Superman cast," Belloni wrote. He's a well-known figure in the movie industry, so it makes sense. In the film industry, David Corenswet's salary of $750,000 for wearing the blue and red Underoos is around average for lesser-known actors playing franchise roles. Rachel Brosnahan, a television actress who is new to the big screen, also made $750,000 as Lois Lane. Naturally, all three are eligible for box office incentives if Superman does well.

Where have you seen them before?
The Beast was played by Nicholas in X-Men before. He appeared in Nosferatu, The Menu, and most famously on The Great. Rachel is well-known for her hit show Marvelous Mrs Maisel, while David is comparatively fresh. In 2018, she even received an Emmy for it.
Despite growing complaints about Hollywood studios' excessive use of retreaded classics and comic book heroes, the Warner Bros. Discovery picture has so far received overwhelmingly favorable reviews.
Based on the opinions of 230 critics, the review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes rated it highly at 83%.
The main plot follows Superman as he struggles to save the populace of Earth while torn between his extraterrestrial Kryptonian identity and his connection to humanity.
