In the 1990s, actor Govinda dominated the film industry with his comedic timing and performances. Yashvardhan Ahuja, his son, is now poised to make his debut in the business. In a recent ETimes interview, Sunita Ahuja disclosed that she told her son not to imitate his father and expressed faith in his ability.

Sunita discussed her son's preparations for his Bollywood debut and how he talks about scripts with her at home. She stated, "Yash is getting ready really well; he's putting in a lot of effort." He dances beautifully. He performs well. And we'll see him on screen very soon, next year. Yash is the one who constantly inquires of me, "Mum, this is the subject, this is the concept." We converse at home.

Additionally, she disclosed that she cautioned Yashvardhan against mimicking his father to prevent comparisons, saying, "I told him, don't copy Govinda." I don't want my kid to be associated with Govinda. You must develop your own style. He will also establish a superior name than Mr. Govinda.

Although Govinda has been absent from movies for a long time, he previously won over viewers with popular films like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Aunty No. 1, Hero No. 1, Saajan Chale Sasural, Coolie No. 1, and Raja Babu. He was last seen in the box office flop Rangeela Raja, which was released in 2019.

Yashvardhan Ahuja's debut in Bollywood

Yashvardhan worked as an assistant on movies like Varun Dhawan's Dishoom and Tiger Shroff's Baaghi before making his acting debut. He will now make his Bollywood debut alongside Sai Rajesh, a National Award-winning director. The untitled movie is rumored to be a remake of the director's Telugu film Baby. Babil Khan, who has since left the movie, was also said to be a part of the project, which is now being put on hold for the time being.
