Vinay Sapru, the director of the successful song Kaanta Laga starring Shefali Jariwala, discussed their chance encounter. Vinay remembered that they called Shefali for an audition after she passed by them on a scooter with her mother while he was driving with his wife Radhika. Additionally, Vinay disclosed that Shefali was not upset about "not getting more work".

Vinay recounted that he first met Shefali in Mumbai. “In Mumbai, Radhika and I were traveling on Linking Road, Bandra, when a scooter pulled up alongside us. The youngster was embracing her mother from behind as she rode it. They simply passed us by. "What a pretty girl," Radhika and I said to each other. We halted them, handed her a business card, and extended an invitation for her to try out. It seemed like it was meant to be," he remarked.

Shefali was making plans for the next 20 years.

Shefali "never expressed disappointment about not getting more work," he stated, adding that she stayed grounded. "She was in our office just 20 days ago," Vinay said. She brought cookies for the entire crew from her favorite Japanese bakery. "The first 20 years were amazing, now let's think about the next 20," she said to me. She was full of excitement and ideas. She was prepared to face the world.

Concerning Shefali's passing

Shefali passed away Friday night. Her husband, the actor Parag Tyagi, drove her to Mumbai's Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital. But she was pronounced dead by physicians. The precise reason for death is still unknown, although early indications pointed to a cardiac arrest.

Shefali rose to fame in 2002 after appearing in the music video for Kaanta Laga. Alongside Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, she appeared in the 2004 picture Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
