According to reports, Pratik Shah, the cinematographer who was accused of behaving inappropriately toward women, has been removed from the biography of Sourav Ganguly, the former captain of the cricket team. According to Hollywood Reporter India, the film's crew has "discontinued their association" with him. The study stated that Pratik was getting ready for the movie.

Regarding the biopic

According to reports, Vikramaditya Motwane will helm the film. The biopic will star Rajkummar Rao, an actor. Previously, Vikramaditya and Pratik collaborated on the web series Jubilee and the film CTRL.

Regarding accusations against Pratik

When Abhinav Singh, a filmmaker renowned for his short films, recently accused Pratik of abuse on social media, labeling him "highly manipulative" and "emotionally abusive" in an Instagram post, the charges against him came to light. At first, he didn't mention Pratik by name, but he did warn his female followers to be cautious of photographers.

The filmmaker stated in a later post that he had received several messages from women describing their experiences, and that this was the reason he chose the name Pratik.

Homebound, CTRL, and Jubilee all included Pratik Shah

In addition to his other duties, Pratik served as the cinematographer for Dharma Productions' Homebound. Following the claims, the production company issued a formal statement. Dharma Productions responded by stating that no formal complaints were lodged against Pratik throughout the film's production.

Homebound, the lone Indian movie to be shown in the Un Certain Regard category of this year's Cannes Film Festival, has attracted a lot of media coverage from around the world. With a standing ovation, the picture, which was produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, was well received at Cannes. The movie features a cast of actors, including Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa.
