Sonu Nigam, a playback singer who has captivated audiences for decades with his voice and enduring tunes, recently shocked his followers by revealing a stunning new appearance. The singer went for a neater, shorter haircut after getting rid of his long, curly locks, a move that has fans feeling nostalgic and perplexed.
The latest haircut for Sonu Nigam
The metamorphosis of Sonu was captured in a video that famous hairdresser Aalim Hakim posted to Instagram on Sunday. The singer was seen in the video lip-syncing to his song "Ishq Vishk Pyaar Vyaar" from the movie "Ishq Vishk Rebound," while dressed in a red and white vest. The film then switches to Sonu displaying his new, shorter haircut while donning sunglasses to enhance the appeal.
Fans stunned by Sonu's new look
Shaan, the singer, also seemed amazed by Sonu's appearance. He stated, "Bhai is looking like his Betaa .. like a 20 something." "Thank you @aalimhakim bhai for turning him into the chocolate boy," Madhurima, Sonu's wife, said. Fans ASAP inundated the remarks area, with one saying, "Finallyyyy yayyyy. Looking 20 years younger!" "Hair is Hairing, Glam ain't Sleeping, Sonu Nigam ain't Ageing," another person added. In addition, a supporter stated, "Taking it back to the 90s with the incredible Sonu Sir! Soaking up the nostalgic feels Keep shining."
Sonu made news recently when a video of him apparently refusing to sing in Kannada and comparing it to the Pahalgam assault surfaced, creating controversy, following his Bengaluru concert on April 22. Later, he apologized and provided a clarification. However, according to ANI, an FIR was filed against him on May 3 for violating several provisions of the Indian Penal Code, including Section 351(2) (criminal intimidation), Section 352(1) (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), and Section 353 (incitement to public mischief).
Following a complaint by Dharmaraj A, the President of the pro-Kannada organization Karnataka Rakshana Vedike's Bengaluru Urban District Unit, the lawsuit was filed. On May 15, the Karnataka High Court ordered the police not to take any "coercive action" against the playback singer until the case is heard again.
