Shubhangi Atre, who stars in the show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain, is still reeling from the death of her ex-husband Piyush Poorey, who passed away in April of this year. The actor reveals that doctors had warned them of the possible repercussions if Piyush did not change his behavior and beat his addiction.

In a recent interview, the actress discusses the passing of her ex-husband. The interview's video has surfaced on social media. She is depicted in the video becoming tearful as she discusses Piyush.

"I would just say it was very unfortunate..." she stated. However, I believe that addiction is the cause. I will just state that it was very unfortunate. Doctors had warned a long time ago that this might happen if he did not alter his lifestyle. Earlier, doctors had warned him that this could occur if he didn't make any changes to his life. I was aware that it could occur, but I had no idea that it would do so so soon.)

"I want to remember him for all the good things," she said. I loved him, and I may always remember that. I wish to remember Piyush in good memories, and I still say that Ashi (their daughter) should be blessed. “Just keep guiding us both, and that's it (I want to remember Piyush in good memories, and even today I say keep blessing Ashi.”
