Superstar Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj are teaming up for the crazy pan India action movie 'Coolie' produced by Kalanidhi Maran under the prestigious Sun Pictures banner. King Nagarjuna is playing a key role. Aamir Khan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan are seen in important roles. The movie has created huge buzz with its promotional content. The movie will be grandly released in Telugu states on August 14 through Asian Multiplex Private Limited, owned by D. Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, Sunil Narang, Bharat Narang. On this occasion, heroine Shruti Haasan shared the highlights of the movie at a press conference.

What will your character be like in the movie Coolie?

I feel fortunate to have worked with Rajinikanth. It was a great experience.

My character in this film has connected me personally a lot. I am sure that the audience will also connect. Especially girls will connect a lot. As a girl, I have connected a lot to that character. There is a lot of good emotion in my character. The director has designed it very wonderfully.

I hear you will be seen as Rajinikanth's daughter in this film?

No. I look like Satya Raj's daughter.

There are so many stars like Nagarjuna, Upendra, etc. How did it feel to share the screen with all of them?

Amazing experience. I have worked with many stars till now. But this experience is very different. Not every artist gets the opportunity to work with so many superstars in the same film. This is a very special movie.

What was your favorite element when director Lokesh Kanagaraj talked about this story?

I met him for a music album. While the work was going on, he surprisingly told me about this character. Lokesh's films are dark, guns, and action-related. I really liked the strong woman character he portrayed in this film.

Family audiences will definitely connect with Rajinikanth's character and my character.

What will Nagarjuna's character be like?

It's going to be amazing. He's playing a villain character for the first time. All the Telugu audiences will be very surprised.

About director Lokesh Kanagaraj?

He is a director with a very clear vision. He knows exactly what he wants. It is a pleasure to work with him.

Will you have scenes with Aamir Khan?

There are. Aamir Khan is a family friend. An important phase in my life is being with Aamir's family. Working with Aamir is a very special experience.

What about the producers?

This is a film made on a very large scale. The budget required for the story was kept without compromising anywhere.

Have you watched the whole movie?

I haven't watched it completely yet. I've finished dubbing. I've watched a few more portions. Everything I've seen so far is amazing.

What about Anirudh's music?

I have known Anirudh for a long time. He is very proud of himself. Now his music elevates the film. He has given brilliant music in these films too.

About DOP Girish?

Girish is the director's DOP. He is a technician who knows what the director has in mind and visualizes it. Everyone liked his work in Vikram. This film also has very wonderful visuals.

Would you like to share with us about Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan from those days?

They shared a lot about those days, their friendship with their father, and their working style. They truly have a unique bond.

Do you have dream roles?

There are no special dream roles but I love music. I am also a musician. I always wanted to play a musician role.

You are one of the heroines with a very long career. What can you say about this journey?

I consider all this a blessing. I enjoyed the work. I didn't think much about the future. My luck depends on how much justice I do to the project that comes to me. I am still the same now.

In one word about the worker?

Cool full entertainer. There is a lot of amazing action. There is also a good story and emotional core. Surely all the audience will enjoy it a lot.

About new projects?

I was busy with work all last year. Now I am listening to stories. I am interested in working with new directors, new writers, everyone. I have heard some stories in Telugu. There will be an announcement soon.
