On Tuesday, actress and singer Shruti Haasan stated that her X account has been compromised and cautioned fans not to click any links sent from her profile on the microblogging platform. On her Instagram account, Shruti posted a post.

Posting to her Instagram account, Shruti wrote: "Hi lovelies, just want to let you know my Twitter account has been hacked. Do not engage with that page until I return (red heart emoji with folded hands), as I am not the one who posted it.

The official account of the actor tweeted a number of strange things about Bitcoin and advertising materials on Tuesday. "Am I the only one who feels way happier and way more uplifted and positive when the weather is gloomy and rainy?" the actor wrote in her most recent tweet on June 23. I can't be the only one... makes me want to write things and move hearts.

With her hard-hitting performance at the audio release of Thug Life, Shruti has recently made a splash. At the audio release in Chennai, in front of music director AR Rahman and the whole cast of the movie, Shruti performed a stunning live version of Vinveli Nayaga. After a period of over 30 years following Nayakan, the movie was the first joint project between Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. Earlier this month, Thug Life was released in theaters, but it did poorly in terms of box office sales.

Next up for Shruti in the professional arena is Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie. The action thriller, which also features Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan, and Reba Monica John, is produced by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures.
