Shine Tom Chacko Shares Mammootty’s Comforting Words After Father’s Demise

On June 6, Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was in a fatal car accident in Salem while driving with his family. His father, CP Chacko, died in the incident, while Shine suffered numerous injuries. The actor discussed the horrific incident in a recent interview with Cue Studio and thanked Mammootty for his constant support in the days that followed.
A terrible vehicle accident involving Shine Tom Chacko
While traveling with his family, Shine Tom Chacko recalled how he had just given up smoking in favor of cookies, and he had even woke up in the middle of the night to ask his father for some. He told us that the first thing he recalled after the accident was seeing his father, which was a very sad moment because his father never spoke to them again.

Mammootty's remark is remembered by Shine Tom Chacko.
"He didn't say much, but he said exactly what I needed to hear. He told me not to let grief consume me, to stay grounded," the actor said, remembering how Mammootty had encouraged him after his father's death.
"Mammukka himself was going through a difficult time but still made the effort to call," he continued. He said I was never a problematic kid in his eyes. You just have to modify a few things, he said. All will be well. We'll move forward and change, and all other things will come into place after that.
Concerning the mishap
When their car crashed, Shine was traveling with his father, mother, brother, and driver. The actor's mother, brother, and driver were all hurt, and he also had several broken bones. The collision occurred close to Dharmapuri in Tamil Nadu, close to Palakottai, according to a story in Manorama. Even after being transported to the hospital, CP Chacko died of his wounds.
