The Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko has been in the news for a variety of reasons for some time. After actress Vincy Aloshious claimed that Shine Tom Chacko engaged in indecent behavior with her while intoxicated, the movie Soothravakyam, which is about to be released, has also been embroiled in disputes. With only two days remaining till the theatrical release of Soothravakyam, Shine Tom Chacko has now issued a public apology to Vincy at a press conference on Tuesday.

The Malayalam movie Soothravakyam, which is set to be released in theaters on July 11, 2025, is an upcoming release. Following Vincy's claims of Shine Tom's misconduct while filming under the influence of drugs, the movie made headlines. The topic was discussed by both performers at a press conference on July 8.

"I apologize if there were any problems on my side. Many of the comments were meant to be humorous, and nothing was done on purpose," Shine Tom stated during the press conference to Vincy and the journalists.

Hoping to bury the hatchet, Vincy also stated that she filed the complaint after experiencing such an unexpected reaction from a person she loved.

Vincy, who has won a state award for her acting, also expressed her regret for causing Shine's family any pain. The media was informed by both performers that they had worked out their differences.

Soothravakyam, Cinema Bandi's debut Malayalam project, is supported by the Telugu production company. The effort became problematic, though, when Vincy made the allegations and the film became embroiled in the dispute. In fact, Sreekant Kandragula of Cinema Bandi had even asserted that Vincy and Shine were not assisting with the movie's advertising.

When Vincy uploaded a video claiming that a male co-star behaved inappropriately, the problem was brought to light. The actor's identity was later verified to be Shine Tom, even if the video didn't mention his name. Vincy had also submitted her complaint to the Film Chamber, and the matter had since caused a stir. But she ultimately stated that she was retracting the grievance.

In contrast, Shine had a terrible experience when his father was killed in a car crash.
