He wrote an emotional note alongside an old photo of Shefali: "One of the most shocking moments of my life. After learning of Shefali's unexpected and tragic death, I am completely heartbroken and in disbelief. Many years ago, we had a few wonderful years together, which I will never forget. I extend my sincere sympathies to her parents, Satish ji and Sunita ji, her husband Parag, and her sister Shivani. It breaks my heart that I can't be there for the final rites while I'm now in Europe. Gone far too soon. During this awful moment, I pray to the Almighty that her spirit may find peace and that her family may be supported. Jai Shree Krishna.
