Shefali Jariwala death: Following reports of her death late Friday, numerous famous people, including Aly Goni and Mika Singh, paid tribute to actress and model Shefali Jariwala. Following a cardiac arrest, the 42-year-old was brought dead to Mumbai's Bellevue Hospital, according to journalist Vickey Lalwani. Parag Tyagi, her husband, was seen departing the hospital.

"Shocked and saddened to hear about Shefali Jariwala's sudden demise. Life is so unpredictable. Rest in peace," tweeted Aly Goni, the actor who also starred in Bigg Boss alongside Jariwala.

"It's unbelievable. We are shocked and sad for the family," Divyanka Tripathi, a TV actress, said in a social media post.

"Completely shocked to learn that my friend Shefali Jariwala is no more," Tehseen Poonawalla wrote. I last saw her at a celebration. Life is so brief. I was with her on #BigBoss13. It's amazing that both #SiddharthShukla and she, who were on my season, are no longer with us. Sending her loved ones love and healing!

An old interview in which Jariwala discusses her notoriety for "Kaanta Laga" is currently trending on social media. In an interview on a podcast with Paras Chhabra, the 42-year-old was questioned about the 2002 song. Shefali responded, "There can only be one Kaanta Laga girl in the world, and that is me." Until the day I die, I want to be known as the "Kaanta Laga Girl" because I adore it.

Reacting to the video, one fan commented: "She ruled our screens with just one song. Today, the "Kaanta Laga girl" is no more. Gone too soon, but never forgotten."
