Mahesh Narayanan's political thriller, Malik, which featured Vinay Forrt alongside Fahadh Faasil, was released in 2021. Vinay Forrt is reuniting with Fahadh Faasil in Althaf Salim's Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, four years after Malik received widespread critical praise for its compelling narrative and performances. In a recent interview, the Thamasha performer discussed how his approach has changed as he works alongside Fahadh, who is a formidable opponent.

Vinay Forr on Fahadh Faasil

The film Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Vinay Forrt, will be released on Onam. Vinay Forrt said in a recent interview with Club FB that he had many reservations about working with Fahadh in Malik, but that everything changed when it came to Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira.

Vinay made the observation that Fahadh is a fantastic performer, adding that audiences perceive him as such even if he doesn't actually do anything. In Malik, I have a role that is nearly equal. As a result, I had made up my mind to give it my all.

He also expressed his sincere gratitude to Mahesh for casting him as David, a character in the Fahadh Faasil film who becomes an antagonist. "David goes through a whole lot emotions that a man experiences in Malik," he continued.

On the other hand, Vinay states that Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira is a completely comedic film. "So the focus is only on whether we viewers will laugh. In the movie, I play Fahadh's older brother. Althaf's movie was a pleasure to work in.

Following the widely praised Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela, Althaf Salim's second directorial film stars Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead role.

Malik, the Malayalam political thriller from 2021, may be viewed on Aha and OTTplay Premium. The movie depicts Sulaiman, also known as Alikka, who rises to become the head of his seaside community in Kerala. David, played by Vinay Forrt, was formerly Sulaiman's friend but later ended their relationship. Other significant roles are played by Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, and Indrans.
